The Ultimate Dinner and a Show:
This initiative is part of the 10th Annual Stand Up For Heroes celebration on November 1st, held at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Bob Woodruff Foundation’s annual Stand Up For Heroes, now in its tenth year, is a time to honor over 120 injured service members and their families by providing them with four days of respite, marked by activities and special events. Since its inception, Stand Up For Heroes has raised over $33 million to support our nation’s heroes.
Stand Up For Heroes features some of entertainment’s most iconic stars — such as Stephen Colbert, Jim Gaffigan, John Mayer, Bruce Springsteen, and Jon Stewart — as well as inspiring veterans and their families. The experience of Stand Up For Heroes offers resilient heroes the opportunity to connect with fellow warriors and their support communities, fostering the sense of camaraderie that has inspired the event.
It all culminates with the Stand Up For Heroes event, a night of hope, healing and laughter hosted in partnership with the New York Comedy Festival in which we salute the injured and their families while expressing our thanks for their sacrifice. It is a time to stand up and support those who stand up for us.
